Vision, Mission, and Values

Our Vision

Liberty Christian School partners with parents and churches to produce students that have a biblical foundation for life-long learning and work.

Our Core Values

Intentionally Christ-centered.

Our belief in God and His Word is central to us.

  • The board and faculty practice a personal and active faith.

  • God’s Word is the standard for decision making.

  • Placing Christ at the center of all enables us to educate the whole student, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, socially, and physically.

Providing Academic Excellence

Liberty Christian School desires to cultivate academic excellence within our board members, faculty, and students.

Liberty Christian School inspires students to discover and develop their God-given gifts and talents. We nurture an enthusiasm for learning, providing an atmosphere where students may express creativity, discern truth, think critically, and choose wisely. In all areas we uphold a standard of excellence to encourage students to achieve their individual best.

Encouraging spiritual growth

  • We desire students that are growing in their relationship with God, knowing Christ personally, and growing in grace and the knowledge of God.

  • LCS understands the importance of the parent and church relationships and desires to be a partner with them in the spiritual growth of their students as a result, LCS will strengthen the Biblical values taught at home and church.

Inspiring Leadership

We desire that students be equipped to know and defend truth.

  • We know that true wisdom comes from the knowledge of God, and those who are wise will demonstrate some form of leadership.

  • We want to inspire students to be leaders and live with a sense of purpose knowing they were created in the image and likeness of God.

  • We recognize that leadership comes in different forms, whether visibly leading or by being a good example. We want to encourage each board member, faculty member, employee, and student to lead how God has designed them, equipped them, and in the situation in which they find themselves.

Promoting Truth

Truth is the accurate expression of reality.

  • God is the absolute reality, and Christ is His perfect Truth.

  • All those who seek truth are fundamentally seeking to know God.

  • God reveals truth in three ways: through His Son, through His Scripture, through His Creation.

  • Truth can be known by human beings.

  • The function of the school is to help students in the pursuit of all Truth.

Demonstrating Charity

Charity is the biblical concept of love or agape, which includes the ideas expressed in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. It also includes the idea of justice, meaning those things which align with the laws, statutes, and commands of God as expressed in His word.

  • Charity expresses itself in concern for the well-being of others in accordance with God’s concept of what is good. This may be demonstrated in fellowship at all times, care in difficult times, correction in times of error, and a just, unbiased application of the commands of God.

  • The school and its faculty will demonstrate charity for one another, for students, for parents, and for the community.

  • Students will demonstrate charity for one another, for teachers, their family, and for the community.
